About Jess
Marathon-running accountant, proud Lancastrian
I'm a qualified accountant, licensed by AAT, and I've worked for years with owner-led businesses across the world. I've seen the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to business decisions.
I didn't go to college or university; I learnt accountancy through apprenticeships and on-the-job training, completing AAT Levels 2 to 4 in the evenings while working full time. It's part of why I care so much about explaining things properly rather than hiding behind jargon.
Alongside my partner Ben, I co-founded Jessica & Morton Limited in 2024. We live in Clitheroe with Ben's kids and our toy poodle, Trixie. When I'm not in the numbers you'll find me running: marathons, ultras and the occasional Yorkshire Three Peaks.
